Auf der K-Messe in Düsseldorf vom 19. – 26. Oktober 2016 stellt
BASF Lumina® Royal Dragon Gold, das neueste Effektpigment aus
der Lumina Royal Produktserie vor.
Lumina Royal Dragon Gold EH 0908 ist ein brillantes, auf Glimmer
basierendes grün-goldenes Effektpigment. Es ermöglicht die
Formulierung extrem heller und funkelnder Gelb- und Grüntöne.
Durch das Pigment wird das Spektrum hochchromatischer Farbtöne
für Anwendungen in den Bereichen Verpackungen,
Unterhaltungselektronik, Haushaltsgeräte, Sportartikel und sonstige
Spezialanwendungen erweitert.
„Lumina Royal Dragon Gold liefert den stärksten grün-goldenen
Farbton, bei gleichzeitig hoher Helligkeit. Dadurch hebt es sich von
anderen etablierten Mica-Pigmenten ab“, erklärt Marc Dumont,
Marketing Leiter für Pigmente in Kunststoffen bei BASF. „Damit
ermöglichen wir unseren Kunden, Formulierungen mit
außerordentlichem Glitzereffekt und hoher Brillanz zu erzielen.”
Aufgrund seiner besonderen Farbeigenschaften trägt das Pigment
dazu bei, die Bandbreite an Farben und Effekten für eine Vielfalt
eingefärbter Kunststoffanwendungen weiter auszuschöpfen. Das
erlaubt dem Kunden neue und flexiblere Formulierungen. Zusätzlich

Mit Lumina Royal Dragon Gold kommt ein weiterer Farbton zu den
bereits vorhandenen fünf Lumina Royal-Pigmenten Aqua, Blau,
Indigo, Magenta und Kupfer hinzu, die im Markt bereits etabliert sind.
