Chowns Mill roundabout on the A6 south towards Rushden (NN10 8LD). Public
parking will be available on site and a free shuttle bus service will run every half
an hour from a temporary bus stop on Hecham Way, Higham Ferrers.

A45 Chowns MillShuttle Bus Service
From March 2020, we will close all pedestrian and cycle paths around the Chowns Mill junction for safety reasons
and to allow the new improved crossings to be built.
A 24/7 shuttle bus service will operate for pedestrians and cyclists for the duration of the improvement works. A cycle rack facility is provided on board the bus.
Pick up and drop off points will operate from:
• Station Road Higham Ferrers (Opposite Hecham Way)
• A6, Chowns Mill Business Park
• A45 West Street, Stanwick

All footways shown in red will be closed for the duration of the works. The footbridge over the A45 from Higham to Irthlingborough Lakes will remain open (marked in green).
