Angioarchitektur
Bei 96 % von 73 untersuchten malignen LK war mind. eines der vier Doppler-Kriterien positiv17
Bei 95 % von 57 reaktiven LK konnte Malignität mit diesen Kriterien ausgeschlossen werden17
In Prospektivem Setting ergab sich eine korrekte Klassifizierung der untersuchten LK in 88% mit einer Spezifität von 77 % und Sensitivität von 96 %19
Kontrastmittel-sonografie
Erlaubt eine genauere Evaluation der Angio-architektur20
Studien bewerten Wert der Kontrastmittel-sonografie zur Zeit noch unterschiedlich20,21

Elastografie
Maligne HLK sind tendentiell härter als benigne 22,23
Scherwellenelastografie vielversprechender als die konventionelle / Real-Time Elastografie
Anwenderabhängige Vorkompression, Pulsation der benachbarten Gefäße, Auswahl der ROI führen aktuell zu einigen Limitationen24
