A+R® introduced a sophisticated ball seat geometry utilized to ensure that heat expansion of RPTFE does not impact the ball functionality. It is guaranteed an operational integrity by constant torque which is very important for actuator use. The blocking of the ball is completely prevented.

Schaltwellenabdichtung mit Tellerfedern, vorgespannter PTFE Packung erreicht eine Helium-Leckrate von �10-8mbar.I.s-1..m-1 und erfüllt die TA-Luft 2002. Verklemmsichere Schaltwellenabdichtung. Schaltwelle kann bei Nachstellen der Packung nicht festgesetzt werden. Bis zu 200.000 Schaltungen werden ohne sichtbare Leckage erreicht.

Adjustable PTFE stem packing with live load ensures a Helium tightness of �10-8mbar.I.s-1..m-1 and fulfils the TA-Luft 2002. Anti clamp stem design. Stem cannot be blocked while re-tighten the stem packing. Up to 200.000 quarter turns will be performed without visible leakage.
