INVITATION We proudly invite you to the FIS Telemark World Cup in Bad Hindelang/Oberjoch. Here you can find all basic details about the place, dates, schedule, arrival, … On behalf of National Ski Association and the Organizing Committee of the Telemark World Cup in Bad Hindelang/Ober-joch, Germany we would like to invite all Telemark athletes, trainers and officials to the Telemark World Cup at the ATA Allgäu 2014/2015.

Do you like traveling earlier to Bad Hindelang? No Problem! You are welcome in front of the Worldcup – and we will organize the Accommo-dation and also a Training Area for all Telemark World Cup Racer. Please ask our Margit from the Tourist Office in Oberjoch for more Details.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to Bad Hindelang/ OberjochSituated in the Bavarian Alps, to be more precise, in the beautiful Allgäu, you will find a veritable paradise.

You will find yourself at an altitude between 850 and 1210 metres, with the peaks of the Alps soaring above you up to 2,600 metres. The holiday paradise Bad Hindeland/ Allgäu has six districts: Bad Hindelang, Bad Oberdorf, Oberjoch, Unterjoch, Hinterstein and Vorderhinde-lang. Together they offer a world of unspoiled natural beauty, health, Alpine views, sporting adventure and family holiday fun – in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. Situated in the south of Germany, Bad Hindelang is not far from the famous attractions in the Alps. Munich, the castle Neuschwanstein, the lake Constance and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, everything can be reached in a day trip.

ARRIVAL/LOCATION MAP

International Airports: Oberjoch is best served by Munich International Airport, approximately 160 km away. There is an additional air services via Innsbruck Airport, 125 km south – east of Oberjoch.

Rail Connections: Direct connections to the 7-km-distant target train station Sonthofen, to be reached from all regions of Germany. Then further on with the holiday bus to Bad Hindelang, once every half hour.

Private Transport/by road: Coming from the north: Via the A 7/ E 532 until the exit 137 (Oy-Mittelberg,Hindelang-Oberjoch) and from there via the B 310 to Oberjoch/ Bad Hindelang (18 km).

ORGANISATIONThis event is organized under the auspices of the Telemark World Cup Organizing Committee. The official address for all correspondence is listed at the end of this document.

REGISTRATIONRegistration will be at the office of tourism (Jochpass 1 · D-87541 Bad Hindelang/Oberjoch) at 16.01.2015.

Due the high interest from PRESS we kindly ask for a short essay which contains all important successes and interesting facts of your athletes and team. Please try to answer to some basic questions like: City of residence of the athlete, hobbies, sports, past results, skiing background, status in team… Contact e-mail is [email protected] .

ACCREDITATION & RACE OFFICE SCHEDULEThe Race Office is located in the Tourist Office (Gästeinformation) of Oberjoch, and will be open in the right times for you to pick up any information needed.

TEAM CAPTAINS MEETINGThe first team captains meeting will be held on on Friday, 16.01.2015 at 18.30 in ATA Building, directly near the finish area. (No. 2 at the map)

BIBSFor best 15 athletes (women & man) the public bib draw will be held. Start numbers for all others will be drawn and distributed at the Team Captains Meeting. They must be returned immediately after each event.

RULES & INSURANCEThis event will be conducted according to the rules of the FIS. Every participant is responsible for her/his insurance. The telemark World Cup Organizing Committee cannot be held liable in any form.

OFFICIAL NOTICE BOARDSAll changes of the program will be posted on the main board at the Race Office. Participants, trainers and officials are responsible for infor-ming themselves. Please check also our web pages http://www.telemarkweltcup.de for news and details on upcoming events. The pages will be refreshed on a daily bases and covered with news, eventual changes of program etc.
