IT BEST pErIoD: from June to September. If the winter has been rich in rain-and snowfall, it is better to avoid this trekking in early June and late September or take this into account when organizing your equipment. September is still a good month for the trekking, but you may come across snowfall over 2.000 m. The trekking can last 5 or more days, according to the train-ing level of each trekker.

TECHnICAL-pHYSICAL prEpArATIon: Translagorai is a challenging trekking; the height difference is over 5.000 m, to be walked in about 40 hours. You must be fit and well trained; you need to calculate the height difference and the weight of your backpack. You must have a good sense of direction and be good at reading maps. Remember to carry enough water, according to your daily needs.

EQuIpMEnT-CLoTHInG: this trekking is advisable for trekkers with an average -high level of preparation, able to choose the right equipment and clothing for the trekking.
