Die DEUSA International GmbH ist ein traditionsreiches

Kaliunternehmen mit Sitz in Thüringen. Im Industrie-

Chemie-Park in Bleicherode erzeugt DEUSA International

unter Berücksichtigung modernster ökologischer Vor-

gaben Salzprodukte. Neben Kaliumchlorid produziert

das Unternehmen auch Magnesiumchlorid, Natrium-

chlorid und verschiedene Solen.

Mit der Herstellung neuer Produkte, wie Mineralfutter-

mittel für Tiere, erschloss DEUSA International im Jahr

2003 neue Märkte. Durch den Einsatz eigener Rohstoffe

und umweltfreundlicher Technologien produziert das

Unternehmen Produkte bester Qualität. Umfangreiche

DEUSA-Forschungsprojekte in Zusammenarbeit mit

namhaften Instituten sind der Garant für einen konti-

nuier l ichen Qual itätsausbau und bestimmen somit

International produces salt products

in the industrial-chemical estate

in Bleicherode, taking account of the

latest ecological standards. Besides

potassium chloride, the company

also produces magnesium chloride,

sodium chloride and various salts.

With the manufacture of new

products, for example mineral feed for

animals, DEUSA International

developed new markets in 2003. The

company manufactures top-quality

products through the use of its

own raw materials and environmentally

The roots of DEUSA International go

back to the year 1890. The production

of potash started as early as 1903.

After years of successful production,

the reserves of hard salt threatened to

become exhausted in the 1970s.

The extensive carnallite reserves could

only be mined cost-effectively by using

a new mining technology.

In 1979 the first pilot holes were drilled

and in 1988 the complete procedure

chain for mining and processing salt

to make potash fertiliser was tested.

Thanks to further investment we were

able to put a new plant into operation

in 1996; bischofite (magnesium

hexahydrate) is produced there.

The company was renamed DEUSA

International GmbH in 2001, and in

the same year extensive investment

was carried out to develop the

industrial-chemical estate in

Bleicherode. The construction of a new

potash loading facility in 2002 as well

as the modernisation of the salt racking

facility and the construction of a new

bischofite bagging facility in 2003 laid

the foundations for the high level of

productivity of DEUSA International

today. With the launch of the salt

paste, a food additive for game, DEUSA

International opened up a completely

new market in 2003. On the basis of

this product, EquiEnergy, a salt paste

for supplying horses with minerals, was

introduced onto the market in 2005.

Die Wurzeln von DEUSA International reichen bis in das

Jahr 1890 zurück. Bereits im Jahr 1903 lief die erste

Kaliproduktion an. Nach Jahren erfolgreicher Produktion

drohten sich in den 70er Jahren die Hartsalzvorräte zu

erschöpfen. Die umfangreichen Carnallitvorräte konnten

nur durch eine neue Fördertechnologie wirtschaftlich

gewonnen werden.

1979 wurden die ersten Pilotbohrungen niedergebracht

und 1988 die komplette Verfahrenskette der soltech-

nischen Gewinnung und Soleverarbeitung zu Kalidünge-

mitteln erprobt. Durch weitere Investit ionen konnte

im Jahr 1996 eine neue Anlage in Betrieb genommen

werden, die Bischofit (Magnesiumhexahydrat) produziert.

Die Umfirmierung in DEUSA International GmbH sowie

umfangreiche Investit ionen in die Entwicklung des

Industrie-Chemie-Parks Bleicherode erfolgten im Jahr

2001. Der Bau einer neuen Kaliverladung mit Zwischen-

lager im Jahr 2002 sowie die Modernisierung der Sole-

abfül lanlage und der Bau einer neuen Bischof i t-

absackanlage im Jahr 2003 legten den Grundstein für

die hohe Produktivität der DEUSA International von

heute. Mit dem Produktlaunch der Salzpaste, einer

Nahrungsergänzung für Wild, erschloss DEUSA Inter-

national 2003 einen völlig neuen Markt. Aufbauend auf

diesem Produkt erfolgte 2005 mit EquiEnergy die

Markteinführung einer Salzpaste zur Mineral ienver-

sorgung von Pferden.

DEUSA International betreibt in Thüringen eine industrielle

Anlage zur soltechnischen Gewinnung und Verarbeitung

von Carnallitit. Die naturreinen Salze stammen aus einer

30 Millionen Jahre alten Lagerstätte. In einer Tiefe von

bis zu 400 Metern wird das Salz umweltschonend unter

Tage ausgewaschen (Solung) und über Rohrleitungen

ans Tageslicht befördert. Hierbei werden die für die

Weiterverarbeitung wichtigen Stoffe Magnesiumchlorid

und Kaliumchlorid bereits unter Tage von den nicht

verwertbaren Stoffen getrennt. Die Reststoffe verbleiben

in der Lagerstätte und tragen somit zur Stabilität der

entstandenen Kavernen (Hohlräume) bei. Durch dieses

umweltbewusste Verfahren kann vollständig auf die

Bildung von Rückstandshalden verzichtet werden.

DEUSA International operates an

industrial plant in Thuringia for min-

pure salts come from a 30-million-

year-old deposit. At depths of up to

400 metres, the salt is washed out

underground using an environmentally

friendly method and transported above

ground through pipelines. In the

process, the substances magnesium

chloride and potassium chloride, which

are important for further processing,

are separated underground from the

substances that cannot be utilised. The

residues remain in the deposit beds

and thus contribute towards the

stability of the caverns thus created.

This environmentally friendly process

makes the formation of waste dumps

for the residues completely superfluous.

MgCl2 Solen

DEUSA International bietet eine Palette diverser MgCl2

Solen an: Edelsole (ES), Entsulfatisierte Edelsole (EES),

S20, S25, S30. Auf Wunsch kann, dank moderner Tech-

nik, jede Konzentration gemischt werden. Hauptsächlich

finden die Solen im Winterdienst und bei der Staub-

bindung Anwendung. Sie werden von der weiterverar-

beitenden Industrie zur Herstellung folgender Produkte

benötigt: Auftaumittel, Kühlsole, Ionenaustauscher, Ma-

gnesiumoxid, Staubbindemittel, Mg(OH)2, Baustoff-

zusatz, Mg-Metall, Textilien, Papier. Die Lieferung

der Solen erfolgt in Tankfahrzeugen und Bahnwaggons.

Kaliumchlorid

Kaliumchlorid wird hauptsächlich im agrartechnischen

sowie industriellen Bereich genutzt und kann zur Her-

stellung von Produkten wie Düngemittel, Thomaskali,

Kornkali, Mischdünger, Kaliumsulfat, Pottasche, Kalium-

hydroxid, Kalisalpeter, K-Metall oder Sonderchemikalien

verwendet werden. Die Lieferung von Kaliumchlorid

erfolgt lose im LKW oder per Bahn.

Magnesiumchlorid/Bischofit (MgCl2 + 6 H2O)

Magnesiumchlorid wird überwiegend in der Bauindustrie,

zur Staubbindung und im Winterdienst genutzt. Mit

Magnesiumchlorid kann die weiterverarbeitende Industrie

Produkte wie Sorelzement, Magnesia-Estrich, Schleif-

mittel/-steine, Auftaumittel, Staubbindemittel, Textilien,

Abdecksalz oder Schmelzsalz herstellen.

Die Lieferung von Magnesiumchlorid/Bischofit erfolgt in:

• Großsäcken à 1.000 kg

• in 25 kg PE-Säcken, palettiert

• in 50 kg PE-Säcken, palettiert

• auf Wunsch in 25 kg PE-Säcken

unpalettiert in 20'-Containern

• als Schüttgut in Silofahrzeugen.

MgCl2 salts

DEUSA International offers a range of

various MgCl2 salts: refined salts (ES),

desulphated refined salts (EES), S20,

S25, S30. Thanks to modern technology,

any concentration can be mixed on

request.

The salt is mainly used for winter road

maintenance and for binding dust.

It is used by the processing industry

for the manufacture of the following

products: thawing agents, cooling salts,

ion exchangers, magnesium oxide, dust

binding agents, Mg(OH)2, construction

material additives, Mg metal, textiles,

paper. The salt is delivered in tanker

trucks, heavy goods vehicles and rail

wagons.

Potassium chloride

Potassium chloride is mainly used in

the technical agricultural sector

as well as in the industrial field, and

can be used in the manufacture of

products such as fertilisers, Thomas

potash, corn potash, mixed fertilisers,

potassium sulphate, potassium

carbonate, potassium hydroxide,

potassium nitrate, potassium metal or

special chemicals. Potassium chloride

is delivered in bulk by truck or by rail.

Magnesium chloride/bischofite

(MgCl2 + 6 H2O)

Magnesium chloride is used pre-

dominantly in the construction sector,

for dust binding and in road

gritting in winter. With magnesium

chloride, the processing industry

can manufacture products such as

Sorelcement, magnesia flooring,

abrasive agents/grindstones, thawing

agents, dust binding agents, textiles,

covering salt or melting salt.

The delivery of magnesium

chloride/bischofite is effected in:

• large bags of 1,000 kg

• 25 kg PE sacks, palletised

• 50 kg PE sacks, palletised

• on request in 25 kg PE sacks,

unpalletised, in 20' containers

• as bulk material in silo vehicles
